Our Rooms
The Barn
A supherb larger room comprising three split levels. The top floor being the bedroom offering a king bed under skylights, the 2nd offering the bathroom and the ground floor is a lovely cosy lounge area with Smart Television, sofa and tea and coffee making facilites and microwave. If you aren't breakfast people or you are simply looking to save a few pounds for spending on the rest of your holiday this larger room, is also availabe as a semi self-catering option. It does not offer a kitchen and sink but does offer plates and cutlery and a microwave. You can still book with the on-line system if you want the no breakfast option but please email or message me your request so I can adjust the tariff. I will knock off £7.50 per person or £15.00 per night for a couple offering a reduction of £105.00 for a weeks stay.
Claiffe Room
Up the steps to your front door and you glimpse a view of the Esthwaite Water which is only a two minute walk away. This is a beautiful light, bright room with twin beds which zip together to make one ‘Super King’ bed. Also has a separate cosy T.V. lounge with sofa bed.
Esthwaite Room
‘A spacious double bedroom with King bed, on the ground floor for easy access. With sofa to lounge comfortably in front of your television. The television offers a ‘NOW’ connection box, so bring your passwords But remember to sign out as you depart. Waterside will not be responsible for guests forgetting to do this! It also offers a spacious wardrobe and plenty of draws for storage. The en-suite offers shower over bath.’
This lovely light room opens on to the residents garden. A lovely space that catches the sun superbly. Outdoor furniture can be placed as you desire it as you relax to the bird song or under the starry evenings.

This is our 2nd stay at Waterside House, we've stayed in the Barn Room and the Claiffe Room and both were lovely and perfect for our dog. Each room was beautifully decorated and it was great to have a separate room for our teenage daughter. Vanessa was lovely as always and her breakfasts are the best. Very handy spot for the nearby dog friendly pubs and the attractions of the beautiful south and central lakes. You can also use a pass to use the Low Wood swimming pool which was great. One of the best places we've stayed and we will definitely be returning.
